Renewing your Managing Broker license with IDFPR is not difficult, but it does require some planning.  Do NOT wait until the last day to try to submit your renewal, as high volumes of traffic to the website may delay or temporarily disable online renewal.

Once you complete the required CE hours, visit IDFPR’s Managing Broker license renewal page. In order to renew your license, you will need your managing broker license number AND one of the following: date of birth, Social Security Number or the PIN found on your renewal application.

Step 1:  Verify your Social Security Number or make any necessary changes.

Step 2:  Verify your name and address. You may make any necessary address changes. If you need to change your name, you must renew by mail.

Step 3:  Answer the required questions.  If your answers are in compliance with statutory requirements for your profession, you will be allowed to renew.

Step 4:  Fill in payment information. An additional service fee applies to credit card vendor processing costs for online renewal.

Step 5: Once you have entered all the necessary information, click “Submit Renewal Fee.”  If the information has been entered correctly, a new license will be sent to the address you provided.

If you cannot renew online, you must renew by mail. If you have questions or want a printed copy of the renewal application mailed to you, contact IDFPR at 1-800-560-6420 or mail your request to IDFPR, 320 W. Washington, 3rd floor, Springfield, IL 62786.
