How to Earn an Illinois Real Estate Broker License

You must be at least 21 years old (or 18 with certain educational prerequisites) to complete 90 hours of pre-license education and a earn passing score on the state licensing exam.

Step One – Complete the Required Courses

Unlike some other schools, Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center’s Online and Classroom Courses require no course exams!

The 90 hours of required education includes 2 courses. Broker Pre-License Topics is the foundation of your real estate education.  Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles applies the foundation concepts you have learned to real-world scenarios.
