The next managing broker license renewal deadline is APRIL 30, 2019.

Education requirements for managing broker license renewal are based upon the date you were first licensed as a managing broker in Illinois. If you do not remember your original license date, use IDFPR’s Online License Lookup.

When were you licensed?

Managing Brokers Licensed After February 1, 2017

Managing Brokers whose original license date is after February 1, 2017 (but before February 1, 2019) must complete 12 hours of CE before April 30, 2019. The 12 hours must include 6 hours of Core (3 Core A and 3 Core B), and a maximum of 6 hours of elective credit.

Managing Brokers Licensed Prior to February 1, 2017

Managing Brokers whose original license date is prior to February 1, 2017 must complete 24 hours of CE before April 30, 2019. The 24 hours must include 6 hours of Core (3 Core A and 3 Core B), a maximum of 6 hours of elective credit, and 12 hours of Broker Management CE (mandatory 12-hour interactive course).

Managing Brokers Licensed After February 1, 2019

Managing Brokers whose original license date is after February 2, 2019 do not need to complete  CE for the 2019 renewal. They will need to complete 12 hours of CE by the next renewal cycle deadline of April 30, 2021.
