Education Scholarships may help you with tuition

Whether you are just beginning or continuing your real estate education, you may be eligible for a grant or scholarship through the Real Estate Educational Foundation or GI Bill®.

If you are interested in getting a real estate license, scholarships such as the Illinois Education and Training Grant and Illinois Minority Real Estate Scholarship Program may help offset your education costs.These and many more scholarships are offered by the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF). Application materials for tuition reimbursement scholarships to be used on pre-license courses must be submitted prior to enrollment.

Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF)

The Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF) is a not-for-profit organization established to aid and promote real estate education throughout Illinois. Scholarships are awarded to students of real estate and related fields of study at colleges and universities both within and outside Illinois, to candidates of the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) of Illinois program, and to those furthering their knowledge in the field of association management and leadership.

GI Bill® Tuition Reimbursement

GI GI Bill logo iconBill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and is a tuition reimbursement initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Under the guidelines, GI Bill® benefits may be applied to Illinois REALTORS® pre-license classroom courses (live classroom training only). Qualified veterans must pay all tuition costs upfront to the branch providing the live training and will receive reimbursement if approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
