Financial assistance for real estate education courses is available through the Real Estate Educational Foundation and the GI Bill®.

Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation Scholarships

The Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF) is a not-for-profit organization established to aid and promote real estate education throughout Illinois.

Illinois Education and Training Grant

One of the scholarships funded by REEF is the Illinois Education and Training Grant.  The grant (not to exceed $100) is awarded to eligible individuals who wish to pursue a real estate degree or license in the state of Illinois. You must submit all application materials at least two weeks prior to enrolling in an Illinois REALTORS® 75-hour pre-license topics course or 90-hour pre-license package.

GI Bill® Tuition Reimbursement

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and is a tuition reimbursement initiative sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Under the guidelines, GI Bill® benefits may be applied to Illinois REALTORS® pre-license classroom courses (live classroom training only). Qualified veterans must pay all tuition costs upfront to the branch providing the live training and will receive reimbursement if approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
