Consumers today have the same complaints about real estate professionals they had 20 years ago: communication and follow-through, said Craig Grant at the 2016 IAR Spring Conference & Expo Wednesday morning.
So Grant provided Illinois REALTORS® with a variety of technological tools and strategies to choose from during his presentation, “Working With Today’s Hyper Connected Consumer,” at the Gateway Center in Collinsville.
Grant explained that today’s consumers are more prepared, more empowered, less patient and less loyal than in the past.
Grant advised participants to adapt and improve their websites to the needs of their clients. For example, he suggested that search functions be built around one of the following strategies:
- property types;
- geography;
- lifestyle; or
- customer needs (short sales, foreclosures, price reductions).
