On Thursday, Feb. 8, local election authorities in Illinois will open permanent and temporary locations for precincts to conduct early voting in the March 20 primary election.

Today is the first day that your election authority can publish the locations and the hours they will be available, according to information from the Illinois State Board of Elections.  Local election authorities can publish this information once a week during the early voting period. If the authority maintains a website, the schedule should be available there.

Early voting ends March 19 for the primary.
