Illinois voters interested in early voting for the March 20 primary can contact local election authorities for information starting today. However, since some court challenges to candidates still need to be decided, the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE) has asked county clerks and local boards of elections to make early voting available as soon as it is possible.

The ISBE website can help voters find contact information for their election authority, based on the city or county they live in. Or you can consult this list of locations for early voting.

The website also offers voting information based on the calendar and by topics such as: vote by mail, early voting, grace period registration, etc.

Today’s Chicago Daily Herald reported that voters in Cook and DuPage counties may have to wait until Feb. 21 before ballots disputes are settled. Read more.
