Monica Bullington, Maureen Forgette and Peter Grant will be among local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored March 28 at the 2022 Annual REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield.

The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.

Bullington is the ROTY for the Mid-Illinois REALTORS® Association and is a broker for RE/MAX Rising in Bloomington. During her six years as a REALTOR®, she’s served on the Mid-Illinois Board of Directors and numerous committees and shown her civic pride by giving to the Connect Transit Board of Trustees and the YWCA Board of Directors. In 2020, she graduated from the Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development program.

Forgette is the ROTY for the Heartland REALTOR® Organization and is a broker for Century 21 Roberts & Andrews in McHenry. She serves on the Heartland Board of Directors and has been active on the local, state and national association levels with the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

Grant, a broker for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Speckman Realty in Bourbonnais, is the ROTY for the Kankakee Iroquois Ford Association of REALTORS® (KIFAR). He has served on the KIFAR Board of Directors, including three years as chair, and has shown his community spirit through Project Recycle. An experienced member of the Illinois REALTORS® State Legislative Contact program, he’s now SLC to state Rep. Jackie Haas.

All three will join Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ed Neaves, managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Central Illinois REALTORS® in Bloomington, at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for this special event. A reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and program at 7:15 p.m.
