- SB 2664 – With a potential vote coming soon, IAR is stepping up its lobbying efforts for this bill, which creates a clear and fair formula for calculating the amount to be paid by purchasers of foreclosed condominiums when it comes to back assessments on the property. The bill would also give the buyer better notice of the potential obligation.
- HB4609 would ban the State Fire Marshal from establishing a fire sprinkler mandate by administrative rule. REALTORS® have opposed residential sprinkler mandates which drive up the cost of homeownership and take the decision away from homeowners.
