The results of a WalletHub survey released Tuesday ranked Aurora 57th and Chicago ranked 104th in the United States for best places to raise a family.
WalletHub used 47 key metrics – including cost of housing, quality of health-care systems and opportunities for fun and recreation – to make its assessments.
Chicago was tied for No. 1 for the city with the most playgrounds and the most attractions, while Aurora was No. 1 for the highest percentage of families with young children. Aurora was ranked 12th in health and safety, while Chicago was 23rd in family fun.
