Although REALTORS® may spend a lot of time in their vehicles, they can put others’ safety at risk if they have important discussions while driving.

That’s why the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) recommends they avoid distracted driving situations by pulling over and stopping the car or postponing serious conversations for a later time. In today’s safety reminder, the NAR says: “Save the serious discussions for a time when you are not driving. It’s important that you do not get distracted by stressful thoughts or serious conversations when you’re on the road. Distracted driving puts your life and the lives of others at risk.”

Check out the resources NAR offers. In many cases, REALTORS® who plan ahead can better prepare themselves for natural disasters, internet hackers and criminals.
