For the 17th consecutive year, the REALTOR® Association of Northwestern Illinois (RANWIL) raised money to purchase coats, hats, boots, snow pants and blankets for two students from each class at six elementary schools in Freeport.

Students received their gifts in December during a party at the RANWIL office in December. REALTORS® Jule Brooks (Preferred Real Estate of Illinois, Freeport), Cheri Frisbie (Preferred Real Estate) and Toni Howard (Preferred Real Estate) helped organize the party, along with Freeport attorney Tony Coon. For three straight years, Coon has been Santa during the party.

Officers are: President Angela Stodden (United Country Heartland in Galena), President-Elect Lisa Radke (Choice Realty in Freeport), Treasurer Kimberly Boldt (Winter and Associates in Freeport) and Secretary Sue Altensey, GRI (Keller Williams of Rockford).  Pam Borowski is the association executive.
