Five charities received donations totaling $5,025 from the Kankakee Iroquois Ford Association of REALTORS® (KIFAR) following the local organization’s Christmas party and charity auction at the Kankakee Country Club this month.
About 125 REALTORS®, affiliates and guests attended the event, which included a silent auction and ticketed raffles. Charities included: Harbor House of Kankakee (a women’s shelter), Hospice of Kankakee County and the Salvation Army Food Pantry, as well as Harbor House of Watseka (Iroquois County) and the Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
KIFAR officers include: President Don St. Germain (American Universal Realty in Bonfield), President-Elect Leanne Provost (McColly Bennett Real Estate in Bourbonnais), Treasurer Vernie Foster (Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Bradley) and Secretary Tina Franklin (McColly Bennett Real Estate in Bourbonnais). Connie Legris is the association executive.
