GI Bill® tuition reimbursement
Qualifying veterans can apply for reimbursement of their tuition for Illinois REALTORS® live pre-license classroom courses through the GI Bill®.
GI Bill® benefits will only apply to LIVE pre-license courses (classroom only – excludes webinars). Member associations and education partners who conduct live classes with Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center may participate.
Under the guidelines, a qualified veteran pays all course costs upfront to the branch providing the live training. The branch partner sends the Request for Veterans Benefits form to firstname.lastname@example.org, which applies to the government for the reimbursement. Please note, it is up to the Department of Veterans Affairs whether or not the Veteran qualifies for the GI Bill® benefit. Veterans who started their coursework after July 1, 2014 may apply.
Call (888) 442-4551 to find out if you qualify.
To apply, complete and submit the Request for Veterans Benefits to the Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center.
