Working with senior sellers
Seniors can have special concerns as they decide to put their home on the market. The Chicago Tribune talked to members of the senior services task force for the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, who had tips for working with this specific market.

“It depends on the situation,” said Catherine Terpstra, an agent at ReMax All Pro in Bloomingdale and vice chairwoman of the task force. “Some people look at it as an adventure, that they’re moving on. Others are kicking and screaming.”

Trust is paramount, and seniors need to be sure they are placing their trust in the right people when it comes to selling their homes.
