Consumer confidence is improving and more people believe it is getting easier to get a mortgage loan, according to Fannie Mae’s January 2014 National Housing Survey. Of the more than 1,000 consumers surveyed, more than half — 52 percent — said they think getting a mortgage has gotten easier, NAR reports.
