Illinois REALTORS® staff members pooled their resources to help a Springfield-area mother and her three children for Christmas 2018.
Using a wish list prepared by the mother, staff members shopped, gift wrapped and delivered more than $2,000 worth of presents to Contact Ministries in Springfield.
“With everyone’s generous donations, we were able to fulfill our family’s wish list,” said Brandi Moore, accounting/operations assistant, who helped coordinate the effort. “Among our purchases were: a television, a set of pots and pans, towels, lots of clothes and blankets, toys and bus passes.”
Contact Ministries provides food, shelter, clothes, financial help and life skills training to people in need. It is located at 1100 East Adams in Springfield.
