The Illinois REALTORS® 2025 REconnect Conference & Marketplace kicked off today with The Boom Team offering, “The REALTOR® Edge: 10 Tips for 2025.”
The afternoon featured a pair of continuing education courses, “Legal Update,” by Illinois REALTORS® Legal Hotline Attorney Victoria Munson, and “Transforming Real Estate Services for Tomorrow,” by instructor Marki Lemons Ryhal.
President-elect Jeff Kolbus and O’Fallon REALTOR® Celeste Wheeler led the Business Issues session, “Working with Veterans,” while Bloomington REALTOR® Brandon Shaffer and Illinois REALTORS® Director of Ethics and Professional Standards Mindie Nesch spoke about “Access Not Always Granted,” and Nate Johnson discussed, “The Importance of REALTOR® Leadership.”
Brief reports on “Scott Air Force Base’s Housing Impact,” and “Behind Closed Doors – Understanding Municipal Inspections,” were given by Local Governmental Affairs Directors Ron Deedrick and Nash Oldenettel, respectively.
The day ended with a networking reception for all attendees at Zapata’s restaurant.
