Illinois REALTORS®, in partnership with Eastern Illinois University, highly recommends participants have access to a desktop or laptop computer and using the Google Chrome browser.

Participants are provided with an instructor-paced outline for completing the topics course on their own. You will benefit from LIVE time with  Instructor Todd Burghardt. This covers the 15 hours of mandatory interactive time, PLUS extra review time!

All coursework is on the Illinois REALTORS® online D2L platform, in partnership with Eastern Illinois University. Participants must be able to access the online platform and work on their own, as assigned. Enrollment includes a Modern Real Estate Practice in Illinois (MREP) eBook – The eBook is NOT printable.

After completing both courses, you will receive two transcripts totaling the required hours of education.

• Enrollment closes at 3 pm the business day prior to the start date (for example, registration for a January 2 start would close at 4 pm on January 1)
• Dates and times are set by Illinois REALTORS®
• Missing more than one live session renders participants ineligible to complete the class.
• All class changes MUST be made through Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center
• Minimum class enrollment of 7 students

Illinois REALTORS® and its instructors reserve the right to remove a student from a class for failure to attend and participate in all live sessions.

Course Requirements 

The 60-hour Broker Pre-License Topics course is a mandatory component of Illinois broker pre-license education.

The 15-Hour Broker Pre-License Applied Real Estate Principles interactive course must be taken in an interactive format.

Participants will complete the online coursework as assigned by the instructor. A syllabus will be available in the course content and gone over during orientation. The coursework can be accessed through any device connected to the internet.

Students choosing to use iPads, tablets or other mobile devices often have connectivity and functionality issues. Illinois REALTORS® and EIU do not recommend using such devices for interactive webinars. Students must be able to download and navigate any required applications for their mobile devices. Setup of mobile devices must be done prior to the start of the webinar. Participants CANNOT use a public internet or WiFi connection for webinars.

Course Expiration

COURSE ACCESS EXPIRES 180 DAYS FROM FIRST CLASS. Students requiring longer than 180 days, but less than 365 days from the date of purchase are eligible to purchase an extension at the cost of $100. The extension period shall not exceed 90 days and may not be extended past one year from the original date of purchase.
