Naperville REALTOR® Lisa Stover was honored for outstanding service to the real estate industry and for her ongoing efforts to work with senior homeowners.

Stover, founder and managing broker of Presto Real Estate Services, was honored with the Seniors Real Estate Specialist Outstanding Service Award at a reception held in Boston as part of the NAR Conference and Expo on Saturday, Nov. 3.

SRES is a designation is awarded to those who show superior performance in serving seniors real estate needs, make a visible difference in a community and uphold high professional standards.

The designation is awarded after completing a training course which covers topics ranging from how to evaluate the market for options for seniors, how to work with older buyers and sellers and how to help them though the financial challenges of making a real estate transition.

Stover took lessons she learned after helping her mother transition to a senior living community and applied it to her business. She also took leadership roles in the community as chairperson of the Senior Housing Options Expo for the Naperville-Lisle Triad, which is a partnership of community groups and law enforcement organizations.

She organizes and hosts a series of programs at a local senior center on topics related to seniors’ needs.

At the ceremony Saturday was Chris Read, who was honored with the award in 2017.
