You can finally start reviewing and considering the impact on your business of the long-awaited proposed administrative rules changes to the Illinois Real Estate License Act (RELA), which were published today in the Illinois Register. These proposed changes cover advertising, licensing and education.

The proposed changes will not go into effect until after a public comment period, which will take a minimum of 90 days (probably longer), review by the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules and then formal adoption.
