If the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has slowed down your real estate business, watch the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) “Pivot in Place” video for great ideas to get moving in the right direction.

REALTOR® Mabél Guzmán, the 2020 NAR Vice President of Association Affairs offers a number of ideas you can use. Those ideas revolve around three steps:

  1. Connect with clients
  2. Educate your clients and
  3. Present solutions.

During the first step, REALTORS® need to check on their clients’ well-being, share information about the strength of the real estate market and data that inspires confidence in buyers and sellers, Guzmán said.

Educating consumers with accurate information will instill confidence in your abilities and demonstrate to them that you’re the expert who can help them immediately or in the near future – whatever they decide.

REALTORS® who provide solutions to consumers give them peace of mind. Share the COVID-19 NAR Workplace Re-entry Checklist to show your clients that their safety is most important to you. It includes information from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Whte House.

“COVID-19 hasn’t changed what we do,” says Guzmán. “But it has changed the way we work.”
