The Senate Government Reform Committee advanced three Senate bills during the past week to help government consolidation and efficiency efforts, according to the Feb. 23 edition of the State Capitol Report. A fourth consolidation bill was advanced to the final passage stage, too.

The Senate also took action on two bills to extend tax increment financing districts, and the Senate Licensed Activities and Pensions Committee approved and advanced a bill that makes changes to the Appraisal Management Company Registration Act. With the 3,018 bills introduced since January 1, 2018, the grand total of bills introduced for consideration in the current 100th General Assembly now totals 9,403.
