IAR is working toward a goal of 28 percent member participation in RPAC. To help reach that goal, association members dialed for RPAC contributions from members who had not donated this year to the political action committee.
The result? IAR is still tallying the results of a push that netted more than 600 pledges.
The phone-a-thon was part of the 1,000 Points of Light campaign which seeks to recruit ambassadors. Each ambassador is asked to sign up 10 people to make at least a fair share, $20 donation.
