Scholarships, grants, and tuition reimbursement opportunities are available for new students and professionals continuing their real estate education. The two primary sources of financial aid used by Illinois REALTORS® students are REEF Scholarships and GI Bill® education benefit. (GI Bill® benefits may be applied to Illinois REALTORS® pre-license classroom courses (classroom training only).
Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF)
The Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF) is a not-for-profit organization established to aid and promote real estate education throughout Illinois.
REEF scholarships are awarded to students of real estate and related fields of study at colleges and universities both within and outside Illinois, to candidates of the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) of Illinois program, and to those furthering their knowledge in the field of association management and leadership.
REEF’s Illinois Education and Training Grant and Illinois Diversity Real Estate Scholarship Program may help with broker pre-license education costs.
