Celebrate home ownership the Abraham Presidential Library and Museum with historical reenactors, special Lincoln Home artifacts on display and FREE admission for Illinois REALTORS®.
- Free Admission for Illinois licensed REALTORS® with ID (business card and driver’s license) on May 2, 2019!
- Admission is also free to the FIRST 175 guests on May 2, 2019
- (Admission is typically $15 • Last tickets sold at 4 pm)
You’ll have access to the full museum for the day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus access to the Treasurers Gallery to see artifacts that tell the homeownership story of Abraham Lincoln.
Artifacts include
- The key to the Lincoln Home
- A doorknob from the home
- The official “A. Lincoln” nameplate that was placed instead of address numbers
- Plus, many documents that prove the homeownership and transfer to the State of Illinois from Robert Lincoln.
Parking
The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum parking ramp is off 6th Street between Madison and Mason streets. The rates are .75 cents per half-hour or $9.75 per day. The RV and bus parking lot is a flat rate of $5.00.
