The REALTOR® Association of Fox Valley named a new chief executive this week, appointing Chris Studebaker to head the association based in Geneva.

According to the release:

“It was a specific skill set we were after; we needed a seasoned association manager. Without question, we also needed someone to oversee our staff, assist our members and to lead the Association through the next decade,” said Bobbie Gerbrecht 2014-2015 President. “We have found all of those qualities in Chris, and in addition, he has a strong background in Government Affairs and Industry Relations.”

According to his LinkedIn page, Studebaker has lengthy experience in association management. He has worked for the Finishing Contractors of Northwest Illinois and was executive director at the REALTOR® Association of Southwestern Illinois. He also worked for the National Association of Homebuilders and the Northern Illinois Homebuilders Association.

Studebaker holds an MBA in leadership from Aurora University and a BA from Western Illinois University.
