Melissa Sorensen, Ethan Nagar, Myra Nimchaiyong and Beth Coleman will be among 19 local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored April 13 at the 2026 REALTOR® of the Year Dinner in Springfield.

Sorensen is the Mid-Illinois REALTORS® Association ROTY. She serves on the local board of directors, chaired the Membership & Events Committee and has served on several committees and working groups. She graduated from her association’s leadership academy.

Nagar is the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS® ROTY. A fifth-generation REALTOR®, he is his association’s youngest president and the first of Middle Eastern descent. He is on the board of directors for Illinois REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS®, chaired his association’s RPAC Committee, and helped lead its YPN to back-to-back National “Network of the Year” honors.

Nimchaiyong is the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS® ROTY. She led her association as president, currently serves on the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and as Vice-Chair of the Illinois REALTORS® Commercial and Property Management Committee.

Coleman is the NorthWest Illinois Alliance of REALTORS® ROTY. She serves on her association’s board of directors and as chair of the chapter council. She actively volunteers in her community with Meals on Wheels, the Voluntary Action Center, PADS Homeless Shelter, United Way, Grow Spring Valley, the Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living, and Sunrise Rotary.

Sorensen, Nagar, Nimchaiyong and Coleman will join 2026 Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Sarah Ware of Chicago and other local ROTYs at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree Hotel for the dinner.

The ROTY event is sponsored by the Illinois REALTORS® to support the Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation (REEF).
