Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn and his Republican GOP challenger, Bruce Rauner, are scheduled to speak at the Illinois Association of REALTORS® Fall Conference & Expo.
Quinn, who has addressed REALTORS® as part of the association’s Housing Leaders Conferences, is scheduled to speak on Friday morning, Sept. 5, 2014, at the IAR Fall Conference & Expo held at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. He has been governor since 2009, and is seeking his second full term in office.
Rauner is scheduled to speak Saturday morning, Sept. 6, 2014. The Republican is a Chicago businessman who has been honored for philanthropy.
The candidate’s appearances underscore the importance REALTORS® play in the political process. The visits come just two months before the November election.
