Gene Ulm, a Republican political strategist and pollster with more than 25 years of experience, will be the featured speaker at the Illinois REALTORS® Public Policy Meetings on Jan. 25 in East Peoria.
Ulm, a partner at Public Opinion Strategies, will address association members during the RPAC Recognition Luncheon at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria. The Public Policy Meetings kickoff Jan. 23 and last through Jan. 26. See registration and hotel information as well as the schedule.
His clients include U.S. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, and U.S. senators Mike Bishop (Michigan), Jeff Denham (California), Bruce Poliquin (Maine) and Alex Mooney (West Virginia) in 2014. He worked on behalf of major expenditures in many U.S. Senate races that year, too.
In addition to helping Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker with public employee reforms in 2011, he worked against the recall of Gov. Walker in 2012 and helped Republicans maintain a majority in the Wisconsin Senate. Also, he conducted research in support of Indiana’s right-to-work legislation.
