Days after the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development filed a complaint against Facebook alleging discriminatory practices, Facebook removed 5,000 ad options from its platform to “help prevent misuse,” NAR reported.

The options that were eliminated included “limiting the ability of advertisers to exclude audiences that relate to attributes such as ethnicity or religion.”

Also, Facebook said that all advertisers in the U.S. will have to comply with its non-discrimination policy.
