The Global Business Council of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (MORe) was honored in November for depth and breadth of its involvement with global partners and when creating opportunities for its members.
MORe received the National Association of REALTORS®’ 2019 Global Outreach Effort Award at the REALTOR® Conference & Expo in San Francisco. NAR Chair of Global Businesses & Alliance Committee George Harvey said, “The Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® embodies these characteristics and then some. At every occasion, they go out of their way to provide an enriching experience for all involved. Most importantly, they take on these endeavors with the understanding that the benefit is not Mainstreet’s alone, but the entire 1.4-million-member REALTOR® base.”
Earlier this year, MORe hosted delegations from Ireland and Denmark, and hosted two outbound trade missions to Ireland and Serbia. At the REALTORS® Conference & Expo, they assisted the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® in a property bus tour in San Francisco. The tour included delegates from more than 30 countries and provided opportunities for 177 members and international members to build relationships and future business opportunities.
Illinois REALTORS® reported on the Global Outreach Effort Award Nov. 11.
