Congratulations to Illinois REALTOR® Brandon Holtz, who is competing in the 2026 Masters this week! Holtz, an agent with RE/Max Rising in Bloomington, secured his spot in the elite golf tournament after winning the U.S. Mid-Amateur tournament in September. He has also earned a spot in the U.S. Open this June, according to The Real Deal.

One of six amateurs competing in the Masters, he is scheduled to tee off Thursday, April 9. Holtz told The Real Deal that he aims to make the cut and compete in the final two rounds this weekend.

Holtz was also recently featured in the Golf Digest article, “Masters 2026: The 39-year-old real estate everyman playing the Masters,” which detailed his road to the Masters as an amateur.
