This week in Washington, D.C., the National Association of REALTORS® is holding their 2015 Federal Policy Conference and training for the new Federal Political Coordinator’s (FPC). This forum outlines the priority issues for REALTORS® in this new session of Congress. Among those priorities are some familiar items such as the mortgage interest deduction and housing finance reform in addition to newer issues related to technology, such as net neutrality and patent litigation reform.

FPCs Pat Dalessandro and Nykea Pippion-McGriff listen to NAR staff person Victoria Givens in her discussion on online advocacy and calls for action.

The FPC team is nationwide and NAR identifies one REALTOR® to be the main point of contact for each member of Congress. This grassroots advocacy program allows both U.S. Senators and Representatives to hear directly from REALTOR® constituents on priority issues.
