The IAR Licensing & Training Center will present two state-approved continuing education sessions for IAR Fall Conference attendees.

The first will be held on Oct. 2 and features instructor Bruce Aydt and the new Core A CE course, “Fair Housing, Agency, License Law & Escrow 3.0.”

Tax expert Chris Bird teaches the Oct. 3 CE program, “What’s Congress Up To? How Changing Federal Tax Laws Impact Your Clients and the Real Estate Professional.”

Here are tips for taking CE from the IAR Licensing & Training Center:

1 – Arrive 15-30 minutes early; space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

2 – Bring your state-issued photo ID and real estate license pocket card.

3 – If you arrive late or leave during the session, you will forfeit this CE opportunity. Classes are audited by IDFPR and we must comply with state licensing rules and regulations. There will be a 30-minute scheduled break.

4 – Dress in layers. The room might be cold for some and hot for others.

5 – Sit as near the front of the room as possible especially if you have difficulty hearing in a large space.

6 – Be respectful of fellow classmates and limit talking to a minimum.

7 – If you have a disability that requires special accommodations, please contact IAR as soon as possible prior to the session so that we can make those accommodations for you. [email protected] or 217-529-2600.

8 – Smile! IAR’s Licensing & Training Center boasts one the highest pass rates in the state.
