Chicago-based real estate brokerage @properties partnered with three nonprofit organizations to deliver 5,000 winter coats and 2,200 toy scooters to families in need during the 2020 holiday season.

“@properties wanted to show its gratitude in a way that would directly impact a large number of Chicagoans,” the brokerage stated in a press release. “The donation of winter coats and toys will bring warmth and smiles to thousands of children during the holidays.”

REALTORS® Give Back graphic with Christmas decorationsAfter brokerage representatives worked with the Jesse White Foundation, Paving the Way and Kids Off the Block to identify families in need, the nonprofit organizations distributed the coats and toys.

At one of the distribution events, families picked up coats and scooters at the Jesse White Learning Academy in Hazelcrest. Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, who is also the founder and chairman of the Jesse White Foundation, visited with volunteers and representatives of @properties. Also on hand were co-founders and co-CEOs of @properties, REALTORS® Thad Wong and Mike Golden.
