Illinois REALTORS® President Matt Difanis and past president Loretta Alonzo-Deubel were interviewed on Tuesday at the association’s Springfield headquarters.

They are among seven people who will talk about the impact the Fair Housing Act had in Illinois. Last week, REALTOR® Frank Williams welcomed a production crew at his home where he discussed his fight to implement fair housing policy in Chicago. A past president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, Williams was inducted into that association’s Hall of Fame earlier this month.

Other interviews are scheduled for next week in Chicago with NAR’s Fred Underwood, senior director of diversity and community outreach; Courtney Q. Jones, president of the Dearborn Realtist® Board; Zeke Morris, chair of NAR’s Fair Housing Act Anniversary Working Group and Illinois chair of the Housing Opportunity Committee; and Vicky Silvano, 2018 NAR liaison for Global Business Alliances and past president of the Asian Real Estate Association of America.

The video, produced by Springfield-based Storyteller Studios, will debut at the Public Policy Meetings in Peoria in January.
