It’s “Back to School” time, and IAR has a series of fall and winter educational programs lined up for you. In fact, the schedule is filling up quickly! Check out these dates you will want to put on your calendar:
On Oct. 5, REALTORS® are invited to attend REbarcamp, a free un-conference sponsored by the Young Professionals Network. REbarcamp will be held from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Oak Brook Hills/Hilton Resort. Registration is free, but you must reserve your spot in advance.
Oct. 21-22 is the last 15-hour interactive Broker Post-license Applied Real Estate Practices webinar of 2015. This is one of the two required courses for brokers who need to renew their licenses before April 30, 2016. Lynn Madison leads this live-streamed course that you may take from anywhere.
On Nov. 4, IAR and Mainstreet will bring you the Xplode Conference, a full-day real estate technology and marketing conference that provides critical technology and marketing information. The Xplode Conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stonegate Conference Center in Hoffman Estates. It features nationally-known experts in mobile technologies, contact management, email marketing, video and content marketing and much more. Early bird registration is open now, saving you $40!
Dec. 2-3 is the last time GRI Course III training will be offered live. Beginning in 2016, all undergrad course work will be online only and Courses II and III will be combined. This means that if you have completed Course II and do not finish Course III in December, you will be required to re-take all 30 hours online. GRI Course III and Grad will be held at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria, Illinois.
