Illinois REALTORS® is sending a delegation of members to Cannes, France for the 2018 MIPIM conference March 13-16 as part of a multiyear agreement to market the state of Illinois and the expertise of REALTORS® to international investors.
MIPIM is one of the largest real estate conferences in the world and attracts professionals representing many different forms of international property expertise: office, residential, retail, healthcare, sport, logistics and industrial. Although the conference attracts many Europeans, the involvement of the National Association of REALTORS® has helped grow the United States’ involvement.
Illinois REALTORS® who participate will be able to make contacts with real estate professionals from across the globe, visit more than 3,000 exhibits, and learn from keynote addresses and panel discussions. More than 24,000 people will attend, including nearly 4,000 CEOs and high-level professionals, representing more than 100 countries and 5,000 investors. For this year’s conference, Illinois REALTORS® will provide stipends of up to $1,500 for 10 members who attend.
