Illinois REALTORS® from around the state attended NAR’s Governance Meetings and NXT, The REALTOR® Experience Conference & Expo, held November 12-17 in Anaheim. The annual conference draws REALTORS® from around the country for education, networking and business opportunities and Illinois REALTORS® are involved in a variety of leadership and governance roles aimed at making the real estate industry the best it can be.

Some NAR NXT highlights:

• Sue Miller installed as 2024 President of the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) — the largest affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®, with more than 45,000 members worldwide. Miller was the was the 2021 president of Illinois REALTORS® and is a longtime advocate for REBI.
• Congratulations North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors Young Professionals Network (YPN) on winning medium-local network of the year from the National Association of REALTORS®!
• Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® CEO John Gormley was inducted into the Dr. Almon R. Smith Leadership Society. Honorees are chosen for their contributions to the industry and are expected to play active , ongoing roles as innovators and mentors in the association executive community.
