Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® Chief Executive Officer John Gormley, RCE, CAE, will be honored at the National Association of REALTORS®’ (NAR) mid-November conference, the “NAR NXT, the REALTOR® Experience.”
Gormley will be inducted into the Dr. Almon R. (Bud) Smith, RCE, CAE Leadership Society for advancing REALTOR® association management, according to NAR. Honorees are chosen for their contributions to the industry and are expected to play active, ongoing roles as innovators and mentors in the association executive community.
Gormley is the 10th Illinois association executive to be inducted since the award was established in 1998. He joined Mainstreet as its chief executive officer in December 2017. He began his REALTOR® association career working in Marketing & Communications for the Texas Association of REALTORS® before serving as CEO of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS®.
This year, the NAR conference will be held Nov. 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. Register now.
