A mentor can help you overcome obstacles, navigate challenges and identify areas for improvement and growth. Likewise, as you grow in your career, being a mentor to others can be rewarding and beneficial, allowing you to share your knowledge and experience, make a positive impact on someone’s life and gain a new perspective.

To share how mentorship has aided her leadership journey, and can help you, too, National Association of REALTORS® YPN Advisory Board member and Nevada Association of REALTORS® member Yared Rivera will be joining Illinois YPN on April 24 in Springfield.

Yared Rivera has been a licensed real estate agent for 17 years and is the Principle Broker for a boutique brokerage in Henderson, Nevada. She began her leadership involvement at her local association as a YPN committee member. She has since then chaired committees such as Community Outreach, Finance, Investment, and Awards Committees at her local association.

In 2018 she served as the Women’s Council of REALTORS Las Vegas President before going on to serve as a Director for her local and state associations. She has served as Treasurer and Vice President for the Las Vegas REALTORS Association and has served as a National Association of REALTORS Director for the last couple of years. Yared sits on NAR’s YPN Advisory Board as well as NAR Meeting and Conference Committee in 2023.
