REALTORS® Lynn Madison and Chris Read conducted a Broker Management Continuing Education webinar for Illinois REALTORS® instructors Tuesday morning from the Illinois REALTORS® headquarters in Springfield.
Madison and Read provided 30 instructors an overview of the new two-day program, offering customizable materials for instructors to use. Illinois REALTORS® updates the training every two years after the managing broker license renewal period concludes to ensure that managing brokers get the most up-to-date information.
Read and Madison helped create the latest version of the course for Illinois REALTORS® in 2017. The next managing broker license renewal date is April 30, 2019.
Madison is the owner of Lynn Madison Seminars in Schaumburg. She is a REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame member and she’s served on numerous Illinois REALTORS® committees over the years, including stints as chair of the Professional Standards Committee and REALTOR® of the Year Committee. In 2011, Madison was chosen as the Illinois REALTORS® REALTOR® of the Year. She is also the State Legislative Contact for Sen. Laura Murphy, 28th District.
Read is the managing broker-owner of CR REALTOR® and CEO of CR Strategies in Woodridge. She is also an RPAC Hall of Fame member and was the 2016 REALTOR® of the Year for Illinois REALTORS®. She has served on many state committees, including chair of the Professional Standards Committee and the Senior Housing Working Group. In 2017, she received the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® Outstanding Service Award at the REALTOR® Conference & Expo in Chicago.
