Watch today’s video to get a taste of what happened last week at the Illinois REALTORS® 2024 Spring Conference & Expo at the Gateway Center in Collinsville.
President Matt Silver and CEO Jeff Baker spoke about ways the association is working to alleviate the “missing middle” housing shortage, help consumers save money for their first homes and remedy discriminatory local housing laws. Keynote speaker Laurie Guest encouraged attendees to identify the valuable tasks and services they provide consumers for free and urged them to delineate the benefits of those tasks and services to clients.
General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Services Betsy Urbance spoke about the NAR settlement, introduced a skit about buyer broker agreements and answered questions from attendees.
For the first time in years, the Spring Conference offered members the opportunity to earn four hours of core CE and three hours of elective CE.
In addition, members experienced numerous opportunities to network with members across the state, and they learned about innovative and valuable services provided by Illinois vendors during the Expo.
