The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) announced that three Illinoisans have been selected for its 2021 Leadership Academy.

REALTOR® Michael Gobber, managing broker-partner at of Century 21 Affiliated in Westchester, REALTOR® Gaspar Flores Jr., of Su Familia Real Estate, Inc., in Bolingbrook and REALTOR® John LeTourneau, commercial director of Keller Williams Infinity in Naperville will represent the state in a 25-member class. All three are graduates of Illinois REALTORS® leadership development program and serve on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors.

Letourneau is a member of the NAR Commercial Committee. On the state level, he is a member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors, the vice-chair of the Leadership Development Working Group and a member of the Commercial and Property Management Committee. He is the State Legislative Contact for State Sen. John Curran of Woodridge and the Consulate General Liaison to Ireland. He was a member of the 2018 Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Class. He is the treasurer for the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®.

Gobber is a member of the NAR Board of Directors and the NAR Broker Engagement Council. He is the 2021 treasurer-nominee for Illinois REALTORS®, a member of the association’s board of directors and vice chairman of the REALTORS® Political Involvement Working Group. He’s a member of the Finance Committee, the Professional Standards Committee and the REEF Board of Directors. He is the State Legislative Contact for State Sen. Kim Lightford of Chicago. He was a member of the 2017 Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Class. In 2019, he was president of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®.

Flores is a member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors, and is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, the Professional Standards Committee and the Nominating Committee. He is the State Legislative Contact for State Rep. Eva Dina Delgado of Chicago. He is a member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) and the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Chicago. He worked on a number of CAR committees and served on its board of directors from 2015-18. He also served several years on the board of the CAR Young Professionals Network and as a trustee for the CAR Education Foundation. From 2013 to 2018, he served on the board of directors for NAHREP Chicago. In 2017, he served as NAHREP Chicago’s president.
