The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) announced selections for its 2024 Leadership Academy today, including Illinois’ Suzanne Miller of Jim Maloof Realty in Peoria.

The academy is a year-long program that teaches 20 REALTORS® from across the country the history, structure and inner workings of NAR in preparation for future leadership positions in the association.

“The Leadership Academy serves as an invaluable platform, nurturing our emerging leaders and equipping them to shape the ever-evolving terrain of American real estate,” said 2024 NAR President Tracy Kasper. “NAR’s commitment to talent development and professional growth will help this class bring about meaningful change at the local, state and national levels.”

Miller, who became a REALTOR® in 2007, has served as a member of the NAR Board of Directors and the REALTOR® Party Action Committee (RPAC) Major Investor Council for two years. She is a member of the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and has served on numerous statewide committees since 2018, including chair of the RPAC Fundraising Working Group in 2023. She was a member of the 2019 Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Class, too. On the local level, she was the 2019 Peoria Area Association of REALTORS® (PAAR) president, the 2020 PAAR REALTOR® of the Year and served on the PAAR Board of Directors and the PAAR Cares Foundation. She earned her C2EX designation in 2019.

The NAR Leadership Academy begins in January 2024 and culminates November 2024 at NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience, in Boston.
