The 101st Illinois General Assembly kicked off the final days of its session today, with the House of Representatives meeting in-person at the Bank of Springfield Center and the Senate conducting its proceedings from the State Capitol Building.

The session is scheduled to last through Jan. 13.

Housing will be one of the core issues in 2021, with Illinois REALTORS® leading the conversation and hoping that legislation will be introduced to address the future of affordable housing and provide immediate relief to housing providers and tenants.
