Steve Volkodav, CEO for the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®, will be honored at the NAR REALTORS® Conference & Expo in November.

Volkodav will be inducted into the Dr. Almon R. (Bud) Smith, RCE, AE Leadership Society for advancing REALTOR® association management, along with an executive from the Washington State Association of REALTORS® and another from the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS®, according to NAR. Honorees are chosen for their contributions to the industry and are expected to play an active, ongoing role as innovators and mentors in the association executive community.

He is the ninth Illinois association executive to be inducted since the award was established in 1998. Past and future William R. Magel Award of Excellence recipients are automatically inducted, too. A total of 138 association executives are part of the society.
