Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker has taken action on bills from a shortened spring session, including seven bills of great interest to REALTORS® and private property owners, according to the June 19 State Capitol Report.
The bills provide: millions of dollars in housing-related assistance, validation of remote notary provisions issued during Pritzker’s COVID-19 executive order, property taxpayer relief because of the pandemic, two changes requested by local governments and procedural changes involving the 2020 elections.
