Jose Rey, Todd Salen and Christopher Schramko will be among the local association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored April 29 at the 38th Annual REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield.

Rey is the REALTOR® of the Year for the Heartland REALTOR® Organization. He is a broker associate for RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest in Crystal Lake. Rey has served on the Heartland Board of Directors and several local committees, including Education, Professional Standards and Public Relations.  He is the chair of Public Relations.

Salen is the REALTOR® of the Year for the Champaign County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR). He holds a managing broker license with RE/MAX Choice in Champaign. He recently earned his continuing education instructor’s license. He’s a former CCAR president and chair of the Commercial Multiple Listing Service Committee. He’s active in the Champaign-Urbana Rotary Club, Theater Company and Pi Kappa Psi Fraternity at the University of Illinois.

Schramko is the ROTY for the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS® (NICAR). He’s the president and managing director for Schramko Real Estate Corporation of Hinsdale. During his five years with NICAR, he has served as president, president-elect and treasurer. He is also a member of NICAR’s Executive Committee.

All three will join Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Mike Drews of Charles B. Doss & Co. in Aurora, at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield for this special event. A reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:15 p.m. Buy your tickets here.
